* Product Features
Power line communication refers to transmission of voice and data by superimposing a high-frequency signal on a power line transmitting AC power of 100V-220V and using it as a carrier wave.
In Korea, power is supplied at 60Hz. By sending the signal to the high-frequency band outside this frequency band, high-speed data communication becomes possible. This is the same method as ADSL, which superimposes high-frequency signals on the telephone line. Especially, it is useful when it is difficult to extend the cable in the home or office, or because there are many obstacles or jamming nearby, and the radio wave of the wireless LAN can not reach.
However, if the electric meter is not available, it is impossible to communicate because the electric circuit is not connected. It is necessary to set two or more transmitter
and receiver to use it.
